The Voyageur

BlancaVoyageurHome

How sweet is this “Voyageur’ illustration by Blanca Gomez?  The archival giclee print is hand signed by Gomez herself (you may recognize her work from the cover of Uppercase magzine) and is only $30 at Poster Cabaret.  The site’s collection of concert posters and art prints are hard to beat.  Wouldn’t the Voyageur be a charming bon voyage gift for someone?

Musical Handkerchiefs

days-of-the-week-handkerchiefs-by-jack-spade1I dying to get these Days of the Week Handkerchiefs for John from Jack Spade.  Not only are they colorful and gingham, but each one is embroidered with a different song title:

“Don’t Like Mondays” by Boomtown Rats

“Tuesday’s Gone” by Lynyrd Skynyrd

“Wednesday Morning, 3 AM” by Simon & Garfunkel

“Jersey Thursday” by Donovan

“Friday’s Angels” by Generation X

“Saturday in the Park” by Chicago

“(Easy) Like Sunday Morning” by The Commodores

Yup, pretty much AMAZING.

From Basket to Birkin

SLOGAN_03_ARCHIVESDU7EMEART

A classic glimpse of 70′s fashion icon Jane Birkin holding the basket that inspired the Hermes bag named in her honor (see below).  I’ll bet that pink box is holding scrumptious pastries.  The woman was born chic…

1st Dibs antique fashion collection now includes a bevy of vintage Hermes Birkins.  Ranging from $12,000 to $85,000 each their prices are steeper than steep, but they sure are pretty to look at!  From crocodile to ostrich and red to purple, here’s a taste of the rainbow selection:

I Left My Heart in San Francisco

il_fullxfull.72327538

How genius is this “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” embroidery by Moxiedoll?  Anyone who has lived in the city by the bay would get a kick out of it, myself included.  It would look too cute hung in any home.  Miss you dearly SF!
