Introducing Lord Alfred Tennyson…

So we discovered recently that the supposed “no pets” clause in our lease was just a rumor and…John and I got a pug puppy! We’ve named him Lord Alfred Tennyson after the British poet and have taken to calling him “Alfie” for short. He’s 14 weeks old and is such a good boy! Sadly, I don’t think his previous owners were very attentive to him, but John and I are determined to give him a happy home. Above is a photo snapped last night after his first bath. It was his first night with us and I think he was a bit scared, but still—isn’t he adorable? More of our little Alfred to come!
