Precisely how I feel about clothing. I think I’m always putting on something that transforms me…even if it’s only in some little way. My clothes are like costumes, and yes, though they’re all the characters they create are me, they’re all slightly different shades of me.

I sent this quote to my mom because it made me think of her and the dress up box I had as a little girl and she wrote back
“we still have our dress up boxes now they’re just called closets.”
I think that pretty much sums it up!
