My old hood…

I love this photograph by Youngna Park for three reasons. One, I love pennant flags. Two, I love bright colors. Three, I love Manhattan’s East Village. It’s my old hood and I miss it dearly. Did I mention an 8″ x 10″ print is only $20 today? Buy it on 20×200.

I miss the East Village so very much. I lived there during my final semester at NYU and it was so much fun. I think if I ever move back, I’d look for an apartment there.
And these pendant flags? I need some for my apartment. -

Well, I never lived in the East Village, but I did spend a LOT of time there. I was an NYU girl, so the Village was our campus.

I love 20×200….I have bought several things from that site and loved everything. Who says you have to spend big bucks to own amazing art? I have had my eye on this one as well….doesn’t make me nostalgic as much as it is a reminder that I want to live in the east village at some point.

my old hood too! east 9th btwn 1st and A! it was fun being downtown but turns out i’m more of a UES gal…one yr later, back up town….
