Love Miss Rumphius! I’ve actually met Barbara Cooney as she lived in a town near mine when I was growing up in Maine! She was a sweet woman, very short and very quiet, but also very loving!

I loved this book growing up. This is definitely a philosophy I firmly believe in. You’ve been posting some great quotes lately – that last one from Dickens perfectly describes the weather today in NYC.
