“Oh my God we live here.”

Lugano-1

Yesterday I found a collection of printed photographs from an old roll of 35mm I’d taken when I lived in Switzerland.  These are some of the highlights thanks to my dodgy scanner.  If you ever have a chance to visit Lugano, Switzerland don’t pass it up.  It’s simply one of the most enchanting cities on earth.  I took these photos from a park on the water where we used to always eat gelato and sometimes study.  Our token phrase the first year was “Oh my God we live here” because between the lake and the tulips and the sailboats we found ourselves saying it aloud to one another over and over again.  Looking back years later it still seems surreal.  Here’s to you Lugano, hope to see you again soon.

Perfection.

Emersonmade’s styling never fails to amaze.  This shot stopped me in my tracks.  I am seriously tempted to print and frame it.  Want the flower, want the coat, want the teacup, want the books…okay, I want it all.

The new botanical.

I’m in desperate need of some new stationery and I think these botanicals by Anna Bond may be just the thing.  I love their whimsical folksy vibe, don’t you?

Lunch Date

Picture 11

I’m off to a little lunch date with John (awwwww), but wanted to let you know I’ll be reading (and posting!) up a storm when  I get back.  I’ve been so out of touch with my blog reading lately and miss you all dearly—this must be remedied!  Oh and for the record, I found this photo of Emma Watson on a nineteen-year-old boy’s blog…hilarious.
