I’ve been searching high and low for a pretty frock for wedding festivities (a dinner here, a brunch there, you know how it goes…) and this my darlings is IT! It’s called the Painted Silk Bridget Dress and it’s a brand new addition to the J.Crew Collection. I’m in love. It doesn’t ship until May 10th — fingers crossed it fits!

I was on Greenwich Ave the other night and had my face pressed against the glass of the j.crew store drooling a bit-doors were locked! felt like a kid locked out of the candy store. I am a j.crew girl!

Lauren — I completely understand. Not living near a J.Crew for the last 10 months has helped my bank account tremendously, except for one little problem: online shopping!

That dress is adorable! So perfect for your festitivities, it really ties right in color-wise! I’m thinking of renting a dress from rent-the-runway, so I can wear an awesome designer gown at fraction of the price. But this will probably change.
