Bone China Classics

I was just perusing Tiffany’s site looking for a few splurge items for our registry and couldn’t help but swoon over these three very different bone china vases.  I’ve wanted the basket weave rose vase at top for ages, the tall bamboo is just plain fabulous and the lines of Ghery’s rock design are so fantastically sculptural.  I’ll always appreciate Tiffany’s pieces of understated elegance.  Swoon.

Accessory Emergency

Okay loves, this is another “please help!” post because, well, you ladies give fabulous advice and Lord knows I need it!  I’m trying to decide how to accessorize my wedding gown (J.Crew’s Taryn shown above) and am completely stumped.  Do I go for a big statement necklace like these pieces from J.Crew?  Is it too safe (i.e. boring) to wear all J.Crew?  Should I just wear pearls so I don’t feel like I did something “trendy” ten years down the road?  Or what about big chandelier earrings?  My hair will be up—you’ll have to help me choose the style another day… I have a tendency to over analyze this things so tell it to me straight!  How would you accessorize this gown (feel free to get into shoes, veils, etc.)???

Passage to India

Love these snapshots from the May Anthropologie catalog.  They voyaged to India and the colors are truly spectacular.  I can’t wait to visit someday…
