Classics Revisited

wood-books-leanne-shapton

I’ve always loved these wooden block books by Leanne Shapton on sale at John Derian Company in New York.  I think they’d make for a charming artistic touch placed casually about one’s home.  Her edition of A Passage to India may be my favorite with its pretty pink blossoms.

  10. Those are lovely. There’s something so satisfying about good literature. “Les Miserables,” “Great Expectations,” “The Great Gatsby,” “Jane Eyre”–they’re all so full of beautiful prose, vivid settings, and remarkable (or at least intriguing) characters.
