Watercolor Trinkets

I think there’s something lovely about these simple watercolor trinkets, don’t you? I’d love the skeleton key at top hung above my desk. Or better yet, I could gift it to John with a sappy note about having “the key to my heart.” Awwww….

My landlord handed me a key to my new apartment and I thought it was a joke — he was giving me a skelton key!
I’m not too thrilled about the lock, but it sure looks pretty on my key chain!

Kate — That is hilarious! I hope our key is a bit more modern when we move into our new place in three weeks! I’m sure it looks charming though : ) Perhaps you could have the locks changed and save the old key as a souvenir, haha! xx

Oh I love old keys. I’ve been collecting them for awhile but haven’t found the right way to display them. I’m trying to find the right shadow bow or something to inspire me. But those watercolors are wonderful!
