Final Fitting!

This morning is my final wedding dress fitting (it was simply hemmed at the bottom and taken in a pinch at top) and I couldn’t resist sharing images from one of my guilty pleasures, TLC’s always entertaining Say Yes to the Dress. Please tell me I’m not the only one that finds the show terribly addictive? Back this afternoon with lots of fun posts! xx Katie

So exciting! I love that show too. I watched it tons before I actually said yes to my own dress. My final fitting is coming up so quick. We’ll be married ladies before we know it!

It’s the best guilty pleasure there is! I currently have 10 saved on my DVR for those “nothing to watch” nights.

Season 4 went up on Netflix Instant Watch-I think I’ve watched them all already! Whether the bride is lovely or impossible, they’re all entertaining!

I bought my gown at Kleinfelds (a million years ago!) Can’t resist to tuning into this show…and even saw a friend of mine on it! So excited for you Katie!

You are definitely not the only one obsessed with this show! I saw that first picture and kept thinking, “how do I know that woman??” Of course! She’s the one whose sister stepped and ripped her dress the day of the wedding. I know them all. Seriously, all of them.

Ahh, have a blast!! So fun. And that show is absolutely one of my guilty pleasures – I thought the addiction might end after my own wedding, but it’s surprisingly hard to stop! :)

awe this is so exciting! I remember my final fitting (I got married 7 months ago) and that’s when everything became real!!! good luck, and cheers to (hopefully) a stress free day!

PHEW! I’m not the only one addicted to the show!!! I’m pleased to report my dress fit like a glove! My mom, grandmother and aunt were there to “ohh and ahh.” To be perfectly cheesy, I felt like a princess : ) Thank you for your well wishes. I promise lots of pictures from the big day, but not until then as I want it to be a surprise for John!

oh, i LOVE Say Yes to the Dress, cannot resist it…
there is also a “poor man’s” Say Yes to the dress (it’s not as fancy as Kleinfields) on WE that’s about a store called Stardust or something in Texas..and even THAT has sucked me in from time to time…

Congrats Katie and I watch the show too. I bought my gown at Kleinfeld’s and I must say my experience was nothing like the show! At my final fitting a pin stabbed my finger and bled on the dress!!!! YIKES, but they fixed it. Still love my dress–silky column style with little adornament except very detailed sleeves. How fun for you….. Lynn

And yes, I do occasionally find myself glued to the television when that show is on. Reality tv can be so addictive. -
Katie, I am so happy for you!! My only piece of advice would be to remember this is a celebration of you and your husbands union…Try hard not to think or worry to much about all the people there, and whether or not they are having a good time,etc…Focus on being present with your man and all will be good…Well wishes my friend, cannot wait to see pics! xo
