Coach Tweet Up

Hi loves! I’m still in New York having far too much fun. Yesterday I had the opportunity to view the latest fall Coach collection at the company’s Bleecker Street boutiques. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow bloggers and some of the oh-so-sweet girls (and boy!) on team Coach. Above is a silly iPhone photo of me (thanks Jenna!) trying to decide which bag to bring home. I knew I wanted a classic camel hue, but there were too many options! I ended up going with the Kristin Pleated Satchel (on my far right) and am more than a bit smitten with its 1930′s inspired design. The leather will develop a lovely patina over time and I just know it will be a closet staple for years to come. Above are also some of my personal snaps of the boutique’s back wall which is covered with a fantastic grouping of photos, sketches, and memorbilia. I think I may need to borrow the idea for my own apartment!

Thank you ladies! Your flattery makes me blush (no, really!). And yes, it was tough choosing just one! I just felt a camel bag is such a gorgeous, classic piece that will never go out of style. Not to mention Coach has been around forever and has such beautiful craftsmanship. The leather feels like butter—it’s divine!

You are TOO CUTE! I am in NYC too! If I had known we were here at the same time- or if I was here for more than 18 hours- I would have loved to grab coffee or a cocktail! Have fun and try to stay dry in this blasted heat!

Thank you everyone!!!! I’ve been proudly toting the new bag around the Seaport all day : ) And yes, I chopped my hair six weeks before our wedding in July (daring, I know…) and I absolutely, positively adore it. Short hair is SO easy! Wedding pics coming soon!
