Marvelous Macarons

In keeping with our engagement shoot macaron motif I thought I’d share these charming photographs by Dear Machine. I just adore the way she’s tied the scrumptious French pastries up in pretty bows…so simple yet divine! A 5″x7″ print is a mere $10—now that, my friends, is too sweet to resist!

And if I owned a print, I’d be worried I might give up grad school to stay home and make macaroons all day. At least I’d be the most popular girl in town.

Love these photos! These would be perfect framed in any kitchen. Do you have a favorite place to buy macaroons? I love the ones at Tracy Stern’s Tea Salon in NYC.

but I believe these are macarons (French meringue-based cookies, filled with flavored buttercream) not to be confused with macaroons (http://www.thekitchn.com/thekitchn/sweets/whats-the-difference-macaroons-vs-macarons-063982)
