Young and Vibrant

There’s something I just love about this early photo of Jackie Kennedy.  Doesn’t she look so young and fresh-faced?  Like she believes anything is possible?  I’m going to channel that optimism today.  Care to join me?  The world is our oyster ladies…

I love this photograph. She looks so dewy and confident. A good reminder that it’s the girl that makes the clothes and not the other way around. It wasn’t a pillbox, it was Jackie Kennedy in a pillbox. I could use a dose of that optimism too. Thanks for sharing

I’m with you. The world is our oyster and we can have whatever we dream, as long as we believe in it and in ourselves.

Alex — Loved your comment. Dewy is the perfect word and you’re right, it was Jackie that made the icon, not the clothes.

Brandi — Cheers to that love : )

I love this photo as well, or any photo of Jackie for that matter. To me she is the epitome of class and confidence- a classic yet modern woman.

  7. I must say, I’ve never seen this photo before. That in itself is pretty surprising, as I am all about the Kennedy family. And I’m with you – embracing optimism is one of the most important traits. Have a beautiful day!
