I’m Sailing Away

Love these preppy sailing belts by Kiel James Patrick.  Each is hand crafted in Rhode Island with Italian pebbled leather and hand knotted sailing cord—now that’s a labor of love.  Perfect paired with your favorite cable knit this fall!

Denim Day to Night

Two of my favorite shots from the just released November J.Crew catalog.  I must have that satin clutch.  The hue is ‘Autumn Sunset’ — delicious!

Foxy Giveaway!

You may recognize this handsome fellow from my picks in Lonny Magazine’s ‘We Went Mad For’ section.  Well lucky for you, when I ordered my own personal copy of the print the oh-so-talented artist, Alison (she’s from the UK and is a sweetheart!), threw in an extra copy for one of my readers!  The print is 8″ x 10″ and the quality is truly marvelous. To enter simply visit the Eastwitching Gallery and then comment below telling me which piece is your favorite and why.  A random winner picked tomorrow will receive their very own copy of ‘The King of Fox Hollow.’  He’s going up in my place too—we can be twins : )

Bonne chance!

(2nd image: Mr. Fox in my apartment, waiting for you to claim him!)

UPDATE: The winner is #28, Layers of Meaning.  Congratulations!!!

Power Tools

Love these bright, striped tools by Alice Supply Co.  I think I need the red, white and blue set for all the picture hanging I hope to accomplish this weekend.  A special thanks to Kate for the introduction!

Linda & Harriet for Paperless Post

I was so pleased to learn that Paperless Post (“the tasteful online alternative to traditional paper invitations and cards”—I love them!) has collaborated with Liz of Linda & Harriet for a new collection.  The three invites above are just a small sampling of her ridiculously charming creations for the company.  I may have to throw a cocktail party just for an excuse to use those elephants!
