Oleg Cassini The Wedding Dress

In January 2011 Rizzoli is publishing a fabulous new book by Oleg Cassini titled The Wedding Dress and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy! The designer famous for the iconic wardrobe of Jackie Kennedy (I highly recommend his One Thousand Days of Magic) writes about his experience dressing some of the most stylish women in history and in particular, his love affair with the wedding dress. I especially adore these candid photos from inside The Wedding Dress of Oleg and his former fiance, Grace Kelly. Did you know they were engaged prior to her marriage to Prince Ranier of Monaco? They made quite the handsome couple! January can’t come soon enough…

I didn’t know they were engaged!!! Grace Kelly was such a classy lady.. can you imagine getting married to a prince!!!!!!!! She truly lived a fairytale…no wonder she acted like a princess!
Sounds great! She was just beautiful – wholesome and sophisticated – and don’t you just love her glasses? Never been a huge fan of his mustache, however.
