I found these images of a young Jacqueline Bouvier on the lovely Eduarda’s blog and couldn’t resist sharing them with all of you.  Doesn’t she look like quite the pistol in her equestrian gear?  It makes me smile.

    She was such a cute little miss here, wasn’t she? I was glad I got to see Hammersmith Farms where she grew up before it was sold and no longer open to the public. It was a beautiful family home. Loved it.

    Even as a child she had that “something” in her eyes. It’s a bit haunting, but beautiful at the same time. Like she always knew something we didn’t.

    Oh gosh:) These are delightful. I remember as a kid their was ancient book on Jackie (It called her first lady:) I would check out from the library that had these pictures. What a beautiful child!
