Happy 235th Ms. Austen!

In celebration of Ms. Jane Austen’s 235th birthday I thought I ought to throw together a little post of my favorite Austen-inspired items on Etsy.  Some serious, some silly.  Enjoy!  1) An original Elizabeth Bennett painting. 2) Letterpress Austen quotation coasters. 3) Embroidered unrequited love handkerchief.  4) A silly print.  5) Silhouette bookends. 6) Another silly print.  7) A complete Mr. Darcy costume (oh Etsy, how I love thee…).

Lip Service

These quirky tea cups by Reiko Kaneko made me smile.  It’s not everyday your lip and tea stains are fashioned in 24k gold on English Bone China!  I think the “lip tease” tea cup would make for such a cute gift.

Love Notes

I write about a lot of things I “love” on this blog, but this stationery designed by Emily Ranneby I absolutely, positively ADORE.  The clean black and white palette is right up my alley and I am charmed by their decidely French flourish.  In fact, I think I may ask for a set of each for Christmas.  Fingers crossed Mr. Armour is reading…

Classic Kindle Case

These darling Kindle cases by Kate Spade have me longing for an e-reader.  They’d look so cute peeking out of your purse on the subway and such, don’t you think?

Beach Babes

These Scarlett Johansson and Woody Allen photos made me laugh out loud.  He is such an odd duck and she is such a stunner.  Love them both.
