I feel a new girl crush coming on!  Kate Spade New York has a new cover girl and for the first time in the company’s history, it’s an actress! The lovely Bryce Dallas Howard graces the pages of their Spring/Summer 2011 ad campaigns and this sneak peak gives me chills.  Isn’t she lovely?  I think the shot is particularly high fashion and I love the new direction they’ve gone.  Plus, she’s unapologetically pale (my kind of gal).  Extra points for Spade!

   As some one with pale Scottish skin who grew up in So Cal, I’m so happy to see an add that features pale skin. :) And it’s Kate Spade, so of course I’m going to like it…

   Bryce is gorgeous and a real sweetheart. We were at NYU together, in the same acting studio actually though she was a year behind me. She’s a gem and I’m so glad to see her doing so well.
