I&#8217;m a huge admirer of Katz&#8217; work (especially his paintings of his beautiful wife and muse, Ada) and own several of his books. Someday perhaps I&#8217;ll be in a position to buy one&#8230;after all, a girl can dream!</p>

I love it so much I&#8217;ve decided to give another photographer, in this case <a href="http://www.beholder-art.com/product_detail/1849/Kristin---February-13-2007.html" target="_blank">Lisa Wiseman</a>, a shout out here. I appreciate how her images are both strikingly yet soft &#8212; feminine in the prettiest of light. To me, &#8220;MeiLing&#8221; at top embodies how I imagine the adventurous <a href="http://www.matchbookmag.com/" target="_blank">Matchbook</a> girl&#8230;</p>
