I simply can’t get over this staple gun portrait created by Timothy Paul Myers for fashion mogul Tory Burch. He created the stunning piece using a vintage photograph of Tory’s mother, Reva Robinson, in Cuba in 1957. If only I could commission one of my own mother!
These sculptures of luxury luggage by Libby Black certainly are eye-catching. Though the multitude of labels irk me a bit I can’t help but be drawn to the trunks lovely shapes and colors. Love a statement.
These illustrated Jane Austen sayings by Brigida Swanson made me giggle. How I envy her wit! The dress designs hail from the Regency period and each piece is hand printed by the artist. At only $16 each they’re an absolute steal!
There’s something about this trio of photographs by Kristine Noel that I just adore. I think I want big balloons at our wedding and the colors in the bottom image would be perfection. So light and lovely…
The top photo is just that, a photo of a home published in Vogue Living in 2005. Below it is a painting done by photo-realistic Queensland artist Michael Zavros. Can you even imagine the time, skill and attention to detail such a piece must require? If you really want to blow your mind take a look at Zavros’ online portfolio.
