Here Kitty Kitty

I’m seriously allergic to cats and this fluffy fellow has me wishing it weren’t so. Think he’d get along with pugs? ;)

Alfred becomes famous…

Oh. My. Goodness. Remember this silly picture of my little Alfred? Well, I came home tonight to discover that Inslee (an incredibly talented illustrator whose work I just adore!) was inspired to paint my baby boy! Doesn’t he look dashing?! I keep telling him he’s famous, but he just tilts his head and looks puzzled (such a humble pup…). Thank you, Inslee!!!

My Kind of Gal

You can imagine my excitement when I discovered a pristine copy of The Private World of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor in a used bookshop today for a mere $29?!  I snatched it right up and have been pouring over the pug-filled pages ever since.  Above are two of my very favorites—the second especially makes my heart swell.  I can’t wait to have five pugs of my own someday…three to go!

Wallace’s Glamour Shots

Isn’t our new addition handsome?  He loves to sleep perched up on this leopard chair and it makes me laugh.  (Last post about pugs for the next week…promise!) xoxo

P.S. We discovered today that he can not only sit, shake and lay down, but also roll over.  He’s such a roly poly—it’s the cutest!!!

Meet Wallace Armour!

I have a busy night ahead, but I couldn’t go on any longer without sharing our good news—we adopted another pug just last night!  Alfred now has a big brother named Wallace.  He is three years old and has the most charming, wrinkly old-man face.  We love him to pieces and he is ridiculously sweet and well-behaved.  He can even sit, shake and lay (we’re hoping he can teach Alfred…)!  Anyway, above are some polaroids Mr. Armour snapped today of our babies (and my Sperry’s).  Welcome Wallace to the Armour family : )

P.S. We adopted him through PROS, if you live in the San Francisco bay area you should check them out!  Wallace was going to be put down at a pound and PROS rescued him on Christmas Eve.  He was with a wonderful foster family until we brought him home last night.  Such a happy ending!  Thank you, PROS!
