Okay, so if you follow me on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram you’ve already seen this pic, but on the chance you didn’t I simply had to share :) I found him at a boutique in Berkeley this morning and he’s officially the Armour family’s first Christmas ornament. Let the collecting begin!

How do you decorate your tree? Do you have a theme? I’m trying to decide whether to buy ribbons, garlands, bulbs…? Help!

Is it just me or are these needlepoint Christmas ornaments from Smathers & Branson absolutely, positively adorable? John talked me into getting a tree yesterday (I’m not a Scrooge, we just live in the teeny tiny apartment and I’d feared it wouldn’t fit!) and now I’m obsessed with ornament hunting. Needless to say, these granny chic creations are right up my alley!

So I just ordered the Minted holiday cards at top (don’t Alfred and Wallace look hilarious?) and am SO excited to be sending out our very first cards as a family. Better yet, Minted has graciously offered me a $100 gift certificate for one of you! You can use it for holiday cards or their new notebooks which are absolutely darling. Anthropologie always has fantastic holiday decorations and this year is no exception.  I’m especially smitten with this little moose (Mr. Armour grew up in Maine), the cleverly titled Golightly’s Favorite Ornament,  and this terribly chic feather wreath.  As far as I’m concerned it’s never too early to get in the holiday spirit!
