John and I went to hear a taping of NPR’s Mountain Stage last night and headlining the show was the amazing Regina Spektor. She looked so small up there on the big stage, but of course managed to blow everyone away with her piano, keyboard and vocals. I love her distinct, quirky musical style.

I’ve been listening to the “indie pop” musings of Au Revoir Simone lately and when I came across the gorgeous photo above I just had to share. The three girls out of Williamsburg, Brooklyn create the perfect, mellow tunes for lounging on a hot summer afternoon.
