This afternoon I find myself mesmerized by the work of British designer Holly Fowler. She hand paints each duchess satin gown in her collection, sometimes spending nearly 300 hours on just one look! I’m convinced the young and talented Central Saint Martins grad is destined for big, chic things.

Last night I voyaged out to Brooklyn to check out the impossibly cool Wythe Hotel. Housed in an old factory on the Williamsburg waterfront the space absolutely blew my mind. First we sipped gin and tonics upstairs at The Ides with a spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline (stunning all lit up at night…) and then joined friends downstairs at the cozy and delicious restaurant, Reynard. We actually dined with two of the architects behind the project (so proud of you, Mohammad!) so it was fun to learn a bit more about the space over dinner. Now I just need to save up for a staycation…

Love these shots of Natalie Joos in head to toe Miu Miu. I have such a soft spot for black and white photography. So timeless, so chic.
