Life Lately

“I love New York, even though it isn’t mine, the way something has to be, a tree or a street or a house, something, anyway, that belongs to me because I belong to it.”
Truman Capote

Have I really been living in New York for six full weeks?! I’m still walking around like a starry-eyed tourist. Recent highlights have included brunches at Cafe Sabarsky and The Plaza with two darling girls I met on Instagram (no really, and they’re going to be life-long friends!), brunch at Tipsy Parson (oh dear, that’s a lot of brunch…), a stunning Lulu Frost presentation at the The Carlyle, countless jaunts across Central Park for fashion week festivities, thrift shopping in the East Village with my adorable little brother, lunch at the Core Club with my wonderful friend Lynn, the “Regarding Warhol” press preview at The Met (pieces by Peyton, Currin, Katz, Richter…!), several exciting Matchbook photo shoots, and so much more. I just feel so inspired and so thankful to be here. Dear Manhattan, please never take this silly excitement away. Yours truly, Katie Armour

Do you follow Gia Coppola on Tumblr? I thoroughly enjoy her photos :)

Columbia Road

Ever since I happened upon Shini’s gorgeous photos of her trip to the Columbia Road Flower Market I’ve been longing for a trip to London. Now that I’m in New York it’s just a quick skip across the pond. Must make this happen…

Seeing Spots

While catching up on my friend Paloma’s beautiful blog recently I died over this Tanzania wallpaper from Thibaut used in Tiffany Richey’s office. Does life get any more fabulous? I think not.
