If you’re like me then you just about died when you spotted these sunburst earrings by Kenneth Jay Lane on The Daily Spark last week. Well, imagine my delight when I discovered he’d also designed matching bangles! I’ve always dreamed of owning two of his cuffs and wearing them on each wrist a la Diana Vreeland and Coco Chanel. So chic!
There are certain items I simply have to have because I know I’ll wear them to pieces. “Neo-Trad essentials” if you will… Such is the case with this Polka Dot Popover from J.Crew. Not only is it one of my favorite patterns, but it also has a subtle sheer quality that feels decidedly sophisticated. I’ll wear a tank underneath for everyday use and pair it with just a cute black lace bra (Cosabella makes my favorites — I’m in love with this one) and high-waisted pencil skirt for a night out. Love, love, love.
A collection of cozy things for the home this holiday season. Thinking I’ll be giving these as gifts! :)
1) Wilkinson Door Mat – the rounded inner corners add an extra chic twist! 2) Cedar Ball Topiary – flanking your front door! 3) Sumba Pillow – great rectangular shape, it’s eco-friendly and it’s on sale! 4) Eileen French Press – dying over the gold! 4) Candlestick Phone – my husband would love this vintage inspired phone! 5) Thoroughbread Alpaca Throw – this cozy throw is equestrian at its best!
So you’ve probably hear the buzz around the blogosphere about the fun new site Currently Obsessed. It’s basically a place where you can “stalk” (aka follow) your favorite bloggers and see all the things they’re loving at the moment. I’m pleased to report The Neo-Traditionalist is now taking part so you can “stalk me” at your leisure. The site is currently by invitation only, but I’ve been granted 200 invites on a first come first serve basis. To join and follow my picks visit Currently Obsessed and use private access code: The_Neo-TraditionalistObsessed
Happy stalking! ;)
Our little apartment in vignettes. I just adore that old photo of my grandparents traveling in Thailand…priceless.
