Crazy Pug Lady

As many of you know, my husband calls me “the crazy pug lady” and I blame it on the cuteness of our own little Alfred.  On Friday I spotted this vintage silk scarf on Etsy and you bet I snatched it up!  I can’t wait to tie it to my big brown Longchamp for frolicking about flea markets.  The pug love continues…

Pug Pumpkin

My iPhone picture quality doesn’t do him justice, but I just had to share a snap of our little trick-or-treater.  Alfred the pug pumpkin!  Mr. Armour and I had such fun walking him around the neighborhood watching the little kids in their darling costumes.  Alfred received lots of laughs.  What did you do for Halloween?  Costumes, candy, pug pumpkins?

My Little Prince

I realized yesterday as I was looking through our engagement photos (parts one and two) trying to sort out what to print that I never shared these two of our little Alfred.  I think I’m going to blow up the bottom rather large for our apartment and put it in a very simple, modern frame.  Doesn’t he look regal?  I’m such a proud momma.

Behind the Curtain…

Kate-Alfie

Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend!  I’ve been insanely busy with the launch of my shop (thank you for all your support), but am happy to be throwing myself back into blogging this week!  We’re taking a break from the Plucky Pioneer series today, but not to fret—we already have someone fantastic lined up for next Monday.  In the meantime, Fallon over at A Lovely Being will be posting an interview later this afternoon with yours truly for her new “Behind the Curtain” series.  Thank you Fallon for asking me to be your first guest—what an honor!

P.S. I found some amazing pieces this weekend and will be adding to the shop every day this week!  Stay tuned! XO

Alfie Update

Alfie5Couldn’t resist sharing this photo of Alfie this morning doing the famous pug head tilt.  He’s now almost five months old and is getting chubbier (and snoring louder) by the minute.  John calls him “a sad, old man” because of his silly smushed face.  I think wrinkles suit him!
