I recently read Enchantment, the Audrey Hepburn biography by Donald Spoto, and find myself more in awe of Ms. Hepburn than ever before. These old publicity shots for Breakfast at Tiffany’s taken by Howell Conant are only further evidence as to her nymph-like charm. The simple setting speaks volumes about the film, don’t you think? These illustrations by Mexican artist Melissa Chaib are equally hilarious and fantastic. I think I need the Audrey one framed in our new apartment. Too cute!
As spring approaches I find myself dreaming of riding about town on cute little bicycle. I don’t need all the bells and whistles, just something simple in kelly green or apple red with a wicker flower basket in front. Oh and perhaps an old fashioned bell… Yes, a bell is a must.
