I often have trouble finding fun bedding, but this reversible lilac crescent/gold wave pattern by Plover Organic had me at hello. Not only are the materials 100% organic, but each piece is block printed and quilted by hand. Did you notice the euro sham has ridiculously fun trim? Going green has never been so chic!

Rikshaw Design’s children’s clothing line officially launched today and it is very possibly the cutest stuff on earth. I mean really, just look at that red head in her little Rikshaw bloomers! The clothing collection includes kurtas, bloomers, sun hats, and baby sacks in Rikshaw’s colorful block printed patterns. Plus they’ve added some new adult size bedding and boudoir and euro shams to the taj collection. Think I can talk John into elephants??? Below, some of the Rikshaw cutie patooties modeling highlights from the collection. If I get pregnant I’m blaming it on Catherine Fitzsimmons for giving me a severe case of baby fever!
(just kidding mom…kind of…)

Congratulations Catherine!!! XO

I absolutely adore the bright, block-printed baby linens by Rikshaw Design—now I just need a baby to put in them! Founder Catherine Fitzsimmons used contacts in India to bring her bohemian baby dreams to life (she’d previously worked for Ralph Lauren and Pottery Barn). The first bedding collection debuted in July 2008 and a children’s clothing line is due out next spring (see a sneak peek image of the adorable boho chic clothes below!). Catherine also has a spectacular BLOG spotlighting a variety of things she loves including, “family, warm weather, eclectic style, ranunculus, salt water, color, babies, india, letterpress, and photography….” The last image below is a photo she posted of her team after a Rikshaw photo shoot…what’s not to love?
