Adorn Yourself

Have you checked out all the whimsical hair adornments available on BHLDN?  They’re all so quirky and lovely!  My bride days may be over, but I’m still tempted to “add to cart.”

Lo Boheme’s New Site!

My friend Lauren of Lo Boheme just launched a new site for her vintage-inspired accessories and I am head over heels!  The photography is stunning and there are so many beautiful designs to choose from.  The new vintage jewelry section in particular makes my mouth water…such a treasure trove!  Enjoy!

Ivy & Aster

Bridal company Ivy & Aster has officially launched its beautiful website and I am beyond smitten with the result.  Aren’t the dresses heavenly?  I think Mr. Armour and I need to renew our vows so we can I can wear that velvet swiss dot gown above!  Be sure to read their “story” — too charming.

The Modest Bride

J.Crew has a slew of new bridal gowns out, but one in particular caught my eye and it’s this refreshingly modest Duchess Satin Noelle Gown.  It’s rare to find a gown these days with three-quarter sleeves and a high neck and I applaud them for mixing things up!  The gown was modeled after a vintage 1940′s dress and I think it would look terribly chic at a winter wedding.  What do you think, is this modest look timeless or outdated?  Did/would you wear sleeves in your wedding?

I just can’t seem to get over the Silk Taffeta Sascha Gown from J.Crew’s bridal collection.  The sweetheart neckline and sash with the giant silk flower make me swoon.  The latest additions to the collection are lovely to be sure, but this dress will always have a special place in my heart.  I hope it doesn’t go anywhere anytime soon!
