The Most Charming Envelopes

These darling envelopes made from a vintage copy of Ludwig Bemelmans’ classic “Madeline’s Christmas” tug at my heart strings. Wouldn’t they make for the most original touch to your Christmas letters? I recently spilled a cup of coffee all over one of my treasured Eloise books. Perhaps I shall use the few surviving pages for some envelopes of my own ;)

“In an old house in Paris that was covered in vines…”

Framing it.

Just wanted to let all of you know that I plan to frame this spectacular vintage Vogue cover thanks to my dear friend Natalie.  She’s lives in D.C., but her darling blog keeps her stylish adventures near and dear to my heart.  Back to the ridiculously inspiring cover — don’t you just love turbans?  You can find the entire Vogue UK cover archive here.

P.S. Natalie, two words: kindred spirits.

A Very Pug Christmas

This old issue of the now extinct Blueprint magazine (how much do you miss it?!) is one of my very favorites.  It makes me want to run out and buy a pink Christmas tree with gold ornaments…and tie a bow on Alfred and put him in a box.

P.S. Should I buy a real Christmas tree this year or an artificial?  Help!

Letterpress holidays…

greeting_warmestwishes

I am head over heels for this letterpress greeting card by Linda and Harriet.  Pressed in “old school blue and red” the card is a nod to nordic ski sweaters.  Can’t you see it?  CLASSIC.
