Timeless Blooms

Would you believe me if I told you none of these stunning bouquets would ever wilt?  It’s true!  Now I’m a fan of fresh blooms, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes when a client simply doesn’t have the time required to constantly purchase and nurture fresh flowers you need to look into other options.  That’s where Diane James Home comes in.  Her faux floral arrangements are so believably real in appearance they are the go-to source for top designers such as Michael Smith, Celerie Kemble, Mario Buatta, and many more.  Diane studied floral techniques under Lady Pulbrook, “the doyenne of English design,” while living in Europe and eventually began using faux flowers in the 1990′s as a solution for clients’ vacation homes.  Brilliant right?  For a black thumb like myself, it’s true love.

Oh and be sure to check out The Buzz, the Diane James Home blog written by one of her lovely twin daughters, Carolyn.  It’s a treasure trove of info about floral and decorating history—one of my daily reads!
