These charming and oh-so-bright Archie Grand journals made me laugh out loud. My very favorite may be “Royals I Met and Liked” though I do think they ought to create one just for bloggers. I’ve never felt very strongly about Ann Taylor one way or the other, but I must say I’m really liking these new ensembles for summer. So many classic pieces with sweet pastel details, lots of jewels and cute skinny belts! Looks to me as though Taylor’s creative team may have taken a cue from J.Crew’s success. In fact, isn’t the third model down the same girl that modeled J.Crew’s darling Whitney gown? I’m curious to hear what you think of these new looks…?

The new J.Crew catalog features nine everyday women (“friends, associates, and acquaintances”) with inspiring style and enviable wardrobes. I’m loving these three shots in particular. At top is Molly Carey, a designer for J.Crew. Isn’t she gorgeous??? Love the hair, love the lipstick, love the necklace…sigh. Second, is talented interior designer Celerie Kemble and last, but not least is Lily Koppel, darling author of the seemingly wonderful The Red Leather Diary. If her book is half as cute as she is I simply must read it!

Hello all, my apologies for having neglected you the past few days. I’ve simply been exhausted and in desperate need of a little rest and relaxation. Next time I’ll announce it before hand so I don’t have concerned friends contacting me—oops! Anyway, I get these horrid stitches out of my foot this weekend so that’s something to look forward to. Oh and the new J.Crew catalog is out. Have you seen it? As a matter of fact, I’ll post the cover below. Isn’t it divine? Anywho, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and I promise to be back next week brimming with wonderful posts. I’ve been saving up lots of little things and am oh-so-excited to share it all with you. Thank you for your continued support and inspiration!
