It’s almost that time—I fly out tomorrow for nine days in New York! While I’ll miss John and Alfred dearly, I’m beyond excited to be headed back to my old turf. I’ll be spending three days in Manhattan meeting some of my design idols (pray I don’t faint…) and then am headed to the Adirondacks with my beautiful friend Jane Lilly Warren of Lox Papers for her three-day-wedding-extravaganza! Scott and Jane are two of my favorite people in the entire world and I’m absolutely tickled to be a bridesmaid. I’m all too excited—my darling, brilliant, creative friend Jane Lilly Warren has asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding! She’s tying the knot with the incredibly awesome Scott Wade in the Adirondacks next fall and it’s going to be an event to remember. They found an amazing spot for an outdoor ceremony overlooking a lake and Jane’s already dreaming up activities like croquet and sailing. Can you say ADORABLE??? I met the fantastic couple at university in Switzerland and it will be such great fun to reconnect with classmates from across the globe. Did I mention the bridesmaids will be wearing J.Crew? Yippee! My dear friend Jane Lilly Warren is a graphic designer in Manhattan and recently launched a spectacular design blog you really ought to know about.
