Love these rings from the Sundance Catalog. Their jewelry collection has some of the most lovely, organic designs. Though the cocktail sized chalcedony is oh-so-glamorous, I’m personally not one for big rocks and the first and second are my favorites. Which do you prefer—the understated or the statement piece?

Did you hear the news? 23 years after their legendary ‘Jewels of the Duchess of Windsor’ auction in 1987 Sotheby’s is offering 20 pieces of the glittering collection up for sale again on November 10. Among the prized items is this diamond flamingo clip mounted by Cartier Paris featuring plumage set with emeralds, rubies and sapphires. This piece alone is estimated to sell for over 2 million US dollars, can you even imagine?! The video gave me goosebumps, watch it here.

The reconstructed vintage pieces of S|Bella are causing a splash in the jewelry scene and it’s easy to see why. Designer Jennifer Schretter creates her high-end designs by mixing coral, pearls, rhinestones and more with classic vintage pieces from the past. Aren’t they the perfect combo of timeless glamour and rock and roll? I’m obsessed.

I have long been a fan of Ippolita jewelry, particularly the line’s bright, rich selection of turquoise. Originally from the hills above Florence, Italy, Ippolita first launched her jewelry line at Bergdorf Goodman in 1999. Immersed in Renaissance art and architecture as a child, the designer’s mother was an American artist and her father an Italian intellectual. Ippolita spent months mixing her particular shade of 18k gold which is said to flatter every skin tone. Most impressive to me is the fact that every piece is made by hand, giving each a distinct sculptural look. Clearly this jewelry designer is a true artist!
