I just came across this charming save the date by A Day in May on the Lena’s stylish blog and couldn’t resist passing it forward. I love when couples share little anecdotes about their romance with their guests, don’t you? On the cover of our wedding programs we had an illustration of our family (John, Alfred the Pug and me) done by a very talented friend of mine. It made for the perfect personal touch (photos to come, promise!).
I just about died when I stumbled upon this ridiculously awesome letterpress fortune teller by Sycamore Street Press. Not only is it adorable and colorful, but the responses are hilarious. My favorite? ”Did you SERIOUSLY just ask me that? I won’t dignify that with an answer.” I remember these on the playground in grade school with boys’ names scrawled on the inside, don’t you?
Like most of us, I adore the holidays—the excuse to bundle up and drink hot cider by the fire, the decorations, the gathering of families, the gift wrapping, and last but certainly not least, the sending and receiving of good, old-fashioned GREETING CARDS.
