I thought you ladies might enjoy the Matchbook Magazine team’s latest creation, pretty darn clever, right?! My brilliant co-founder, Jane Lilly Warren, designed them (the girl is a genius) and we had thousands printed. The back of each matchbook has our email and web address and the inside cover reads “From lipstick to letterpress, gelato to grosgrain, and Paris to Peru, consider us your field guide to a charmed life!” We each have our own traditional business cards, but I’ve found myself handing out more matchbooks than anything else! Do you approve?

My dear, talented friend and Matchbook partner-in-crime Jane Lilly Warren (read her bio, you will squeal!) recently created a limited run of letterpress 2011 calendars and I’m madly in love. The little vintage-inspired illustrations are cute as pie and the tangerine ink is nothing short of divine. My favorite part? The teeny line at bottom reads “pickering creek press wishes you a wonderful 2011!” You got me Jane—hook, line and sinker.

It’s almost that time—I fly out tomorrow for nine days in New York! While I’ll miss John and Alfred dearly, I’m beyond excited to be headed back to my old turf. I’ll be spending three days in Manhattan meeting some of my design idols (pray I don’t faint…) and then am headed to the Adirondacks with my beautiful friend Jane Lilly Warren of Lox Papers for her three-day-wedding-extravaganza! Scott and Jane are two of my favorite people in the entire world and I’m absolutely tickled to be a bridesmaid. I’ll be blogging intermittently next week, but for all the details you can follow my adventures via tweet-o-gram.
