So tickled to have been interviewed by one of my favorite blogs, NY Mag’s The Cut. I met the lovely Charlotte Cowles at the Kate Spade dinner party over the holidays and when she asked to interview me about Matchbook last week I nearly died of flattery. Thank you, Charlotte! To learn more about my love of pugs, Trader Joe’s and wild and wonderful West Virginia read the interview here : )

I’m so tickled to share a fun bit of press I received this Sunday in the San Franisco Chronicle. Anh-Minh Le (editor of the fantastic new print magazine Anthology) interviewed me about Matchbook and some of my favorite things. My scanner couldn’t fit the entire piece, but if you’re interested it’s online here. A special thank you to photographer Russell Yip and Anh-Minh—what a wonderful group of people over there! Needless to say, I am incredibly honored to have the Chronicle’s support.

I have a busy night ahead, but I couldn’t go on any longer without sharing our good news—we adopted another pug just last night! Alfred now has a big brother named Wallace. He is three years old and has the most charming, wrinkly old-man face. We love him to pieces and he is ridiculously sweet and well-behaved. He can even sit, shake and lay (we’re hoping he can teach Alfred…)! Anyway, above are some polaroids Mr. Armour snapped today of our babies (and my Sperry’s). Welcome Wallace to the Armour family : )
P.S. We adopted him through PROS, if you live in the San Francisco bay area you should check them out! Wallace was going to be put down at a pound and PROS rescued him on Christmas Eve. He was with a wonderful foster family until we brought him home last night. Such a happy ending! Thank you, PROS!

Happy Sunday my loves! So pleased to share that today I’ve been included in a piece in the San Francisco Chronicle (off to buy a hard copy to send to grandmother!). They asked a group of bloggers about design trends for 2011 and I bet you can guess mine…”classics, shaken and stirred!” I’m not one for trends so I thought I’d simply stick to what I know best. Anywho, hope you enjoy these little snippets of my desk space. I played around with some of my favorite trinkets and put my amateur photo skills to the test. How I wish I could have all of you over for bubbly to celebrate! 2011 is going to be a swell year, I can feel it ; )

There are so many little things around the house I’ve been saving to frame and our wedding program is one of them. My best friend’s talented little sister did the drawing of John, Alfred and me — isn’t it hysterical? We printed them at Kinko’s the night before the wedding (thank goodness for only 25 guests) and my girlfriends tied them with differed colored ribbons the morning of the wedding while drinking mimosas. Don’t judge my nails—I ran out of time and painted them myself literally 10 minutes before the photographer arrived (how’s that for low maintenance?!).
