John overslept for work again this morning (tisk, tisk) and I’ve come to the conclusion we need ditch our iPhone alarms for a proper alarm clock. There are so many to choose from! Here are some of my favorites (some more realistic in price than others!):

Faux Coral Sculptures from Maison Schembri
Sure it can be overdone and especially in the summertime, but I don’t think I’ll ever tire of a rich red branch of coral. It’s turning up everywhere this summer from the resell of vintage sculptures (see the ones above from the 80′s) to the multitude of items dreamt up by Williams Sonoma Home (they went a bit coral crazy this season—bed linens, dinnerware, throw pillows, and even rugs). My favorite item of all however, has just a touch of coral—Mesi Jelly’s shell ring. They are made in Italy and the classic red coral is set in a bed of silver. Traditional with a modern twist—just what we’re about.
